Petron Joins the Buskowitz Portfolio of Companies
Manila, Philippines, August 2018–Philippine oil giant, Petron joins the roster of companies that are making a more environmentally conscious decision and installing Buskowitz solar power in their gas stations. Beginning with the gas station in West Service Road, Paranaque, Buskowitz Group representative, Jacque Buskowitz, believes this will be the beginning of many more Petron stations.
“It is great to have Petron franchise owners as clients,” says Buskowitz. “If more gas stations or if all gas stations adopted solar as an alternative source of electricity, the reduction in their and our country’s carbon footprint could make a significant difference in our environment.”
Petron is not the only gas station serviced by Buskowitz Energy. The company has also installed solar panel installations for five Shell gas stations in various parts of Luzon. Also in its portfolio are the Manila North Tollway Corporation, Euro-Swiss Foods (Santi’s), and numerous universities, hotels, and private homes. To date Buskowitz has installed 6.49 Megawatts of solar throughout the Philippines, making them the third largest solar company in the country.
